I am a mixed media artist whose work has been inspired by my love of nature. I create both representational and abstract paintings and I sometimes merge these two styles to create something in between. 

My current work celebrates native flora and has been influenced by my transformation from a traditional gardener to one who now focuses on plants that provide homes and food for pollinators and other wildlife. My goal in these paintings is to reveal the richly textured and colorful beauty across all four seasons. I have also been exploring an abstract series examining the relationship between planet Earth and the humans that live on it. 

I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts - majoring in jewelry and metals. Since then I have spent many years as a graphic artist and for the past 20 years I’ve returned to my fine arts background. I’ve had the honor of receiving a number of awards and features in New York State. Recently I’ve become a member of the Adirondack Artist Guild in Saranac Lake, NY.
